Adams Chairs WDMO Civil Trial Conference

Shook, Hardy & Bacon Partner Robert Adams chaired and presented at the inaugural Civil Trial Innovations Conference at the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Missouri on April 4, 2017. Adams presented “Lessons Learned From High-Profile Cases” with The Hon. Tom Marten, Chief U.S. District Judge of Kansas and J. Kent Emison of Langdon & Emison.  Other conference session topics included witness examinations, “jury-centered” approaches to trials, and opportunities to learn from opposing counsel. The in-person and live-feed conference was attended by lawyers and judges throughout the Midwest region, including all of the Western District judges.
