Shook Partner Participates in Emory Law School Leadership Conference

Shook Partner Hassia Diolombi participated in a panel at Emory Law School’s Institute for Complex Litigation & Mass Claims Leadership Conference January 19, 2018. The panel, titled "Lawyers as Managers," focused on how to "manage down, manage up," to maximize productivity and work-life balance. Other aspects of the panel included perception of managers and incentivizing good management.

The overall goal of the leadership conference was to bring together federal judges, corporate counsel, and experienced lead counsel from the defense and plaintiffs’ bars to engage in a critical assessment of diversity and inclusion within the leadership ranks of class action and multidistrict litigation and to foster strategic thinking around talent development and parity in opportunities.

Diolombi’s practice involves defending Fortune 500 clients in complex litigation across a variety of industries, concentrating on cases involving mass torts and class action product liability claims.
