Shook Associate Maria Salcedo Named LCLD Fellow 2018

Shook, Hardy & Bacon Associate Maria Salcedo has been named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow for 2018. Salcedo has previous leadership experience as President and formerly Vice President of the Hispanic Bar Association of Greater Kansas City.

“I am honored to be selected as a LCLD Fellow for the 2018 year,” said Salcedo, who serves clients in health, life sciences and technology as a member of the Product Liability Litigation Group. “Shook recognizes the importance of diversity, and this program provides me the opportunity to spread the value of diversity to others while simultaneously growing in my professional life.”

The LCLD’s landmark Fellows Program is designed to connect high-potential, diverse attorneys with general counsel and managing partners from preeminent organizations for a year-long, multi-tiered professional development series. The Fellows Program offers a unique value to the leadership-oriented, mid-career attorneys because of the exclusive opportunities to network with and learn from the top leaders in the legal field, during the Program and into the future. The program sets Fellows on the path to success and leadership.

Launched in 2011, the LCLD Fellows Program has grown to include a vigorous Alumni Program, and each previous class of Fellows serve as mentors to those who follow.
