Barkett to Moderate Panel for ABA on AI and Ethics

Shook Partner John Barkett will participate at the ABA's 12^th Annual National Institute on E-Discovery May 18, 2018, in Chicago, Illinois. Barkett will moderate a panel titled "Inside the Black Box: Search, Artificial Intelligence, and Ethics" that explores the procedural and ethical considerations that guide responding parties' search for discoverable ESI. The panelists will address delegating search responsibilities to algorithms, technology assisted review or artificial intelligence as well as leveraging more traditional forms of search.
