Shook Attorneys Recognized as D.C. Super Lawyers

Shook Attorneys Victor Schwartz and Christopher Appel have both been selected to be included in the 2018 edition of Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers.

Partner Victor Schwartz is a 2018 Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers honoree. Schwartz co-chairs Shook’s Public Policy Practice Group. He has been on the Washington, D.C. Super Lawyers list every year since 2008.

Of Counsel Christopher Appel was selected to the 2018 Washington, D.C. Rising Stars list. Appel has been on the Washington, D.C. Rising Stars list every year since 2013.

Candidates for Super Lawyers and Rising Stars are identified through peer recognition ballots, as well as by an independent research staff. Nominees are graded on a point scale that considers 12 indicators of professional achievement, including experience, representative clients, verdicts and settlements, scholarly lectures and writings, honors and awards, and pro bono and community service. No more than the top five percent of attorneys in each state are included on the Super Lawyers list.
