Journalist Ann Curry Featured Speaker at Women's Foundation Annual Event

Award-winning journalist Ann Curry will be the featured speaker at the Women’s Foundation “We Work For Change” Annual Event, October 2, 2018, at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, Missouri. Curry, the executive producer of the series “We’ll Meet Again” on PBS, will discuss gender inequity and the power of human connection. 

The theme of this year’s event is “Truth Tellers: Stories that Change the World,” and presenters will focus on the power of women’s voices and true stories to drive positive change. 

Shook Chair Madeleine McDonough is the event chair, and will discuss the need for truth-telling, transparency and research to expose inequities and break down barriers.
