Gutshall and Carew To Present at DRI Women in the Law Event

Partner Brandon Gutshall and Director of Strategic Diversity Initiatives Kori Carew will be presenters at the DRI “Women in the Law – Connected: Empowered Together to Succeed” event, January 23-25, 2019, in Coronado, California. 

Gutshall will host two sessions about autonomous vehicle technology and issues: “Quick Hit: The Technology of Autonomous Vehicles” and a panel discussion, “Connected Technology:  Autonomous Vehicles and Getting From Here to There.” He will be joined for the first presentation by Ryan Harrington, principal at Exponent Engineering and Scientific Consulting. Gutshall will moderate the second session, with in-house counsel panelists Christina Saidi Egner of Continental Tire Company, Emily Frascaroli of Ford Motor Company, Shook alumnus Randy Haimovici of Uber Technologies and Amy Mass of Hanover Insurance Group.

Carew will interview Zabrina Jenkins, managing director of global litigation at Starbucks Coffee Company, for “A Fireside Chat: Connecting in Crisis.” They will discuss how to manage a corporate crisis successfully and implement conversations about racial bias, and making a lasting cultural impact for inclusion and diversity.
