Lewis Named to Georgia Super Lawyers List

Super Lawyers Magazine has again named Shook, Hardy & Bacon Partner John Lewis, Jr. to its list of Georgia Super Lawyers for 2019.

Lewis has more than 25 years of experience as a trial lawyer in private practice and as in-house litigation and compliance counsel. He has a broad base of experience and focuses on business litigation, employment litigation, as well as bankruptcy and creditors’ rights. He served as global head of diversity and workplace fairness for a Fortune 100 company. He has earned the designation as a Super Lawyer since 2018. 

Lewis joined the firm in February and practices from the Houston office.

Super Lawyers identifies candidates for recognition through peer ballots and independent research. Nominees are graded on a point scale that considers 12 indicators of professional achievement, including experience, representative clients, verdicts and settlements, honors and awards, and pro bono and community service. No more than the top five percent of attorneys in each state are included in the Super Lawyer list.
