The DBR Recognizes Shook Partner Hildy Sastre for Complex Business Litigation Honor
The Daily Business Review selected Shook Partner Hildy Sastre among its “Most Effective Lawyers,” in the Complex Business Litigation category. The award recognizes attorneys who provided “exceptional service to their clients in the past year.”
Sastre recently co-lead a team that successfully defended a pharmaceutical manufacturer in the first bellwether trial over the chemotherapy drug Taxotere. The DBR noted that the case was one of the “standouts” among three dozen lawyers who will be featured in 20 categories.
Sastre is a nationally recognized lawyer who has tried high-stakes cases for product manufacturers throughout the United States. She serves on Shook’s Executive Committee and is the administrative managing partner of the Miami office.
The DBR will feature Sastre, and other winners, in an upcoming issue in December.
