Sinatra to Speak at Employment Law Conference
Shook Partner Katherine Sinatra will be a featured speaker at the Kansas State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management (KS SHRM) 2020 Employment Law and Employee Benefits Conference, February 25-26, in Topeka, Kansas.
Sinatra will present “LGBT Employees and Title VII: The Supreme Court Showdown and Legal Landscape,” February 25, taking an in-depth look at the current state of federal law on the question of whether sex discrimination includes discrimination based on sexual orientation and gender identity. Sinatra will examine the three cases pending before the U.S. Supreme Court and the arguments being made by each side.
