Shook Attorney to Moderate General Counsel Panel on Pandemic Changes

Shook Partner John Lewis will be a panel moderator at the National Bar Association (NBA) Commercial Law Section’s Annual Corporate Counsel Conference to be held February 24-26. The theme of this year’s virtual annual conference is “Turning Action Into Impact.”  

Lewis will moderate a panel of general counsel in the CLE program, “The General Counsel Perspective: Ways the Pandemic has Changed the Landscape of Your Company, Positively and Negatively,” February 25, 1:45 – 2:45 p.m. ET. The discussion will include how each general counsel’s company handled the challenges brought by COVID-19, changes made in order to survive and thrive, lessons learned and what changes to the way they conduct business will be permanent. 

Lewis is chair of Shook’s Bankruptcy, Creditors’ Rights and Fiduciary Practice Group and also of Shook’s Firmwide Diversity & Inclusion Initiatives. He has more than 25 years of broad-based experience as a trial lawyer in private practice and as in-house litigation and compliance counsel.
