Shook Co-Sponsors Legal Issues in Museum Administration with Smithsonian Institution

Shook is as a co-sponsor for a two-day CLE webcast, “Legal Issues in Museum Administration 2021,” with the Smithsonian Institution and others. The webcast, held March 11, 12:30-5:10 p.m. ET, and March 12, 12:00-4:35 p.m. ET, is designed to help museums, libraries and other cultural institutions of all sizes continuing to face serious challenges stemming from the COVID-19 pandemic. The webcast will deliver essential legal guidance to the issues faced by these institutions.

Shook Chair of Privacy and Data Security, Al Saikali, will co-present the session, “Cybersecurity Incidents and Data Privacy: What Every Museum Administrator and In-House Lawyer Should Know,” March 11, 1:50 p.m. ET. Saikali will be presenting best practices for managing privacy within a museum environment.
