Law360 Ranks Shook in Top 10 for Female Equity Partners

Law360 Pulse’s “2022 Glass Ceiling Report” has named Shook among the best firms in the country for percentage of female equity partners. Shook rose in the rankings to place in the Top 10 of firms having 251-600 attorneys, with 29.1 percent equity partners being female. Last year Shook was ranked in the 13th spot. The report gives a data-driven view of the promotion of women within U.S. law firms.

Shook, led by Chair Madeleine McDonough, works to make gender parity and the retention of women as lawyers and leaders as a primary goal. The Law360 report marks the third recognition the firm has received in the last month for woman-friendly policies and leadership: The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) recognized Shook as a Gold Standard Firm for women for the 12th consecutive year, and Seramount selected Shook as among its list of “Best Law Firms for Women” and for its Hall of Fame, also for a 12th year.
