BTI Ranks Shook Among Top 30 for Client Service

For the third straight year, the BTI Consulting Group recognized Shook as one of the Top 30 law firms in the country in its annual client service survey. Shook ranked in the Top 5% of all law firms and scored in the highest ranking among the Best of the Best for the category, Provides Practical Solutions.

“Shook, Hardy & Bacon has excellent attorneys who are always thinking ahead and planning. They are great strategists,” a client told BTI.

The BTI Client Service A-Team 2023 survey is based on interviews with 350 general counsel and other in-house professionals. Only 281 firms were considered by legal decision makers for this survey, including firms serving Fortune 1000 clients. Firms were rated by in-house counsel on the services offered in relevant client service activities, and this year included law firms’ performances in response to new expectations in a post-pandemic legal environment. 

Firms were reviewed in 17 different areas “driving superior client relationships.” Shook scored high as a Leader in the following categories:

  • Anticipating the needs of clients;
  • Offering an innovative approach: and
  • Dealing with anticipated change.

BTI described the firms that ranked the Best of the Best as “Performing nine to 15 times better than typical law firms. Clients see these firms as the pinnacle of performance in the BTI Client Service A-Team; they set the standard for other firms to match.”
