ABOTA Selects Shook Senior Counsel to Membership

Shook Senior Counsel Lauren Greenspoon has been accepted to be a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). ABOTA is an invitation-only organization whose members are dedicated to the preservation and promotion of the civil jury trial right provided by the Seventh Amendment to the U.S. Constitution. Members must be nominated and have at least five years of active experience as trial lawyers, tried at least 10 civil jury trials to conclusion and possess additional litigation experience.

Greenspoon focuses on product liability and mass tort matters in her practice, and she primarily represents pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers in complex product liability defense. She has conducted jury and bench trials in federal and state courts, including handling appeals in the Connecticut Supreme Court and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. Greenspoon is also a member of the Defense Research Institute (DRI) and is on the Woman Advocate Committee of the American Bar Association’s Section of Litigation.
