Shook Partner Joins Local Rebuilding Together Board

Shook Partner Stephanie McGraw has been invited to join the board of Rebuilding Together Houston, the Houston chapter of the national nonprofit, Rebuilding Together.

Rebuilding Together Houston began as a Private Sector Initiative in 1982 and later became a part of Rebuilding Together in 2003. The organization was founded with the purpose of providing low-income elderly, U.S. Military Veterans, and working families in need with critical home repairs, accessibility modifications, and energy-efficient upgrades at no cost to the homeowner.

“I am excited to be part of this amazing group and I am looking forward to contributing to their mission over the next several years,” said McGraw. Since 1982, Rebuilding Together Houston has used their combination of licensed contractors and community volunteers to repair over 3,000 homes of Veterans alone in the Houston area.

McGraw is a partner in Shook’s Houston office and focuses her practice on class action & appellate litigation with an automotive emphasis. She also has commercial litigation and arbitration experience.
