Shook Partner Named Among Savoy’s Most Influential Top Lawyers

Shook Partner Rob Simpson has been selected by Savoy Magazine among the Most Influential Top Lawyers for 2024. Savoy Magazine is a leading publication for the African-American community that showcases positive dialog surrounding business, sports, entertainment and more within a variety of industries.

As managing partner of Shook’s Hartford location, Simpson is a seasoned trial attorney with extensive experience in product liability litigation. Simpson’s practice focuses on pharmaceutical and medical device litigation, as well as toxic tort cases. He has served as first- or second-chair trial counsel in over 30 cases that have gone to verdict.

Outside of the firm, Simpson serves as a member of the American Board of Trial Advocates and as a trial instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and the American Bar Association. He has been recognized by The Best Lawyers in America for his work in commercial litigation and was listed among Connecticut Super Lawyers for 16 consecutive years.
