Shook Antitrust Co-Chair Discusses Ruling in Google Antitrust Case

Shook Partner Ryan Sandrock, co-chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice, was quoted in Bloomberg September 3 about the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia’s recent decision in United States v. Google LLC to not break up the company. 

In the article, Sandrock, a former Digital Markets Attorney in the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, commented on the fact that the ruling was “…a big victory for Google” that will provide opportunity for the AI industry despite its lack of clarity on how Google should proceed.
