Julia Kurtz Named “Rising Star” By Super Lawyers

Associate Julia Kurtz has been named a “Rising Star” by the 2025 Texas Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers selects attorneys based on a multiphase selection process including peer nominations and evaluation. To be considered for “Rising Stars,” attorneys must be 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or fewer.

Kurtz focuses her practice on product liability litigation with an emphasis on professional negligence defense and health care law. During her career, she has second-chaired a seven-day medical malpractice trial and was the lead attorney in a medical malpractice claim in magistrate court, both resulting in a defense win.

Kurtz received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law where she worked at the Milton A. Kramer Health Law Clinic, helping to establish a medical-legal partnership with the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital.
