Two Shook Attorneys Named as Connecticut Rising Stars

Shook associates James Geisler and Sheldon Poole have been named as “Rising Stars” in the 2025 Connecticut Super Lawyers guide. To be considered for “Rising Stars,” attorneys must be 40 or younger or have been in practice for 10 years or fewer. Approximately two percent of attorneys in Connecticut were named to the list. 

Poole primarily defends corporate clients in product liability and environmental toxic tort litigation and has substantial experience handling complex personal injury and property suits. He is a member of the Defense Research Institute and the American Inns of Court. 

Before joining Shook, Geisler served as a judicial law clerk for a judge on the U.S. District Court for the District of Connecticut. He focuses his practice on product liability litigation and is a member of the Connecticut Bar Association.
