Shook Attorneys to Present on Microplastics Litigation

Microplastics are rapidly becoming a litigation flashpoint, with plaintiffs’ firms rolling out a playbook for mass tort and other types of high-stakes litigations. In response, two Shook attorneys will be presenting on microplastics litigation at the National Association of Manufacturers (NAM) Manufacturing Legal Summit to be held in Washington, D.C.

On November 14, Shook Washington, D.C. Managing Partner Phil Goldberg will be the moderator for “Tiny Particles, Big Problems: The Rise of Microplastics Litigation.” Attendees will gain a clearer understanding of the risks associated with microplastics litigation, as well as proactive strategies that can help mitigate the potential reputational and financial impact of facing microplastics litigation. Shook Environmental and Toxic Tort Litigation Partner Jennifer Hackman will be one of three panelists.
