Missouri Lawyers Media Honors Preservation Counsel as a 2026 Influential Appellate Attorney

Missouri Lawyers Media has selected Shook Partner Mary Olson as an Influential Appellate Attorney for the 2026 Missouri Lawyers Awards. 

Each year, the Missouri Lawyers Awards honor lawyers for excellence in different areas of law. The Influential Appellate Attorney is awarded to the lawyer behind the most significant appellate decisions of the year.

At Shook, Olson defends companies against complex individual and class product liability actions in courts. She often serves as legal issues and appellate preservation counsel at trial, and has substantial experience briefing and arguing expert issues, jury instructions, preemption, punitive damages issues, preclusion, constitutional questions and many other complex issues.

Olson will be recognized at the 2026 Missouri Lawyers Awards ceremony in St. Louis.
