New York Partners Will Speak at Automotive Litigation, Regulations, and Innovation Summit

New York Automotive Partners Michael Gallub and Brian Carr will present at ACI’s 14th Annual Automotive Litigation, Regulations, and Innovation Summit to be held in Chicago, March 10-11.

Gallub, who is also a conference co-chair, will moderate, “Multi-District Litigation: Coordinating, Certifying, and Resolving at Scale,” on March 10. The session will provide an update on the latest strategies, concerns and considerations for MDLs and class actions affecting the automotive industry. Topics will include assessing circuit splits and jurisprudential updates that have occurred over the last year.

On March 11, Carr will be a panelist for “AV and ADAS: Aligning Validation, Warnings, and Duty of Care,” and will discuss how risk now turns on how to design, validate, and document automated decisions, including how to translate duty-of-care expectations into evidence, alignment of validation, warnings, and labeling, while showing how to allocate fault, leverage AI development records, and meet FMVSS while standards catch up.
