Shook Partners Will Speak at Automotive Litigation, Regulations and Innovation Summit

New Shook Chicago Partner J. Simone Jones and New York Automotive Partner Brian Carr will present at ACI’s 14th Annual Automotive Litigation, Regulations, and Innovation Summit to be held in Chicago, March 10-11.

Jones will moderate, “Multi-District Litigation: Coordinating, Certifying, and Resolving at Scale,” on March 10. The session will provide an update on the latest strategies, concerns and considerations for MDLs and class actions affecting the automotive industry. Topics will include assessing circuit splits and jurisprudential updates that have occurred over the last year.

On March 11, Carr will be a panelist for “AV and ADAS: Aligning Validation, Warnings, and Duty of Care,” discussing how risk affects how to design, validate and document automated decisions, including translating duty-of-care expectations into evidence.

New York Automotive Partner Michael Gallub is a conference co-chair.
