Missouri Lawyers Media Women’s Justice Awards Honors Two Shook Partners

Shook Partners Jennifer Hackman and Mary Olson have been selected as honorees in the 2026 Missouri Lawyers Media Women’s Justice Awards. The Women’s Justice Awards recognize women across Missouri who have demonstrated leadership, integrity, service, sacrifice and accomplishment in improving the quality of justice and exemplifying the highest ideals of the legal profession.

Hackman was selected as a Litigation Practitioner honoree for her work in leading national litigation teams, developing strategic litigation approaches and achieving major victories for corporate clients. As a key member of the Monsanto Roundup litigation, Hackman was part of the trial team that obtained a complete defense verdict in the first Roundup trial in Missouri.

Olson was honored for Pro Bono, specifically for her involvement with Shook’s Project Affirmation, a pro bono program honored to offer representation in legal name change and gender marker amendment actions to transgender folks in the greater Kansas City area. Since joining the Project in 2014 Olson has grown the team’s bench from three to thirty-three attorneys.

Hackman and Olson will be recognized at the Women’s Justice Awards ceremony on April 16 in St. Louis.
