Chicago Partner Selected for Law360 Illinois Editorial Advisory Board

For the second consecutive year, Shook Partner Riley Mendoza has been selected to serve on Law360’s 2026 Illinois Editorial Advisory Board. The boards were formed to provide feedback on how Law360 can improve its coverage and to provide reporters with a variety of sources.

Mendoza focuses her practice on business litigation, insurance coverage, class action and employment matters. Some of Mendoza’s recent cases include first chairing a breach of contract trial in Illinois state court; arguing an appeal to the Seventh Circuit on behalf of a transportation company on collateral estoppel issues; and a trial and appeal in New York state court for an insurance company related to the trigger of coverage in asbestos cases.

Those selected for the editorial boards underwent a stringent nomination and vetting process and will serve a one-year term. Throughout the year, the selected attorneys will offer insight into legal and business trends to Law360’s editors and help to direct and shape news coverage.
