Art Law Co-Chair to Present at Museum Legal Issues Conference
Co-chair of the firm’s Art Law Practice Channah Norman will speak at the Legal Issues in Museum Administration 2026 Conference on April 29. Norman will be a panelist for “Recent Legislative and Regulatory Law and How to Influence Change,” a session examining federal, state, and significant local legal and regulatory developments affecting museum operations and public funding.
This annual conference is recognized as the premier museum law conference in the United States, and it is attended by museum counsel from all the major museums across the country. The conference takes place in Denver this year but is also available nationally through a webcast. CLE credit is available.
Norman advises clients on issues relating to art and cultural property law. She is a business and legal advisor on museums, cultural property, the art market, art and intellectual property, and restitution and repatriation. Norman has eight years of museum leadership as chief museum counsel for all Army museums across the United States, Europe and Asia, with seven years as a leading appellate attorney for the Department of Justice, litigating complex and novel legal issues.
