Kansas Supreme Court Appoints Partner Daniel Cummings to Board of Law Examiners
The Kansas Supreme Court has appointed Shook Partner Daniel Cummings to the Board of Law Examiners. The Board of Law Examiners oversees the process for becoming a licensed attorney in Kansas through the bar admissions and the bar exam.
“I am excited for this opportunity to serve the legal community in Kansas and am thankful to Justice Standridge, Chief Justice Rosen and the Kansas Supreme Court,” said Cummings. “This is an exciting time to serve in this role, with all the recent and future changes to the bar exam and attorney admissions happening around the country. I look forward to working alongside the other members of the Kansas Board of Law Examiners.”
Cummings is a member of Shook’s Class Action and Appellate Litigation practice group and defends clients in a wide variety of industries, including automotive, consumer products, pharmaceutical and technology.
Cummings will begin his five-year term on July 1.
