Anitra Clement Honored with Three National Bar Association Awards

Shook Partner Anitra Clement was honored with three awards at the National Bar Association’s 101st Annual Convention. Clement was given the Young Lawyers Division (YLD) Trailblazer Award, the Top 40 Under 40 and the Nation’s Best Advocate Award. The Nation’s Best Advocate Award is the highest honor given by the 40 Under 40 program.

The YLD Trailblazer Award recognizes individuals who have demonstrated excellence, leadership and outstanding contributions to the legal profession. The Top 40 Under 40 and the Nation’s Best Advocate honors emerging leaders in the profession, recognizing advocacy, leadership and professional impact.

Practicing out of Tampa, Clement is an experienced litigator who regularly leads trial teams and co-manages large dockets, handling individual actions, multidistrict litigation and class actions. Her practice encompasses all aspects of litigation, including serving as trial counsel. 

Clement is also actively involved in her community. She currently serves as a trustee of the Hillsborough County Bar Foundation and University of Florida’s Law Center Association and served as president of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Federal Bar Association. Clement also dedicates a portion of her practice to pro bono work, with an emphasis on assisting children and families.
