Jennifer Stevenson Named ‘KC Legal Leader’ by Missouri Lawyers Media

Missouri Lawyers Media has named Shook Partner Jennifer Stevenson among the 2026 class of KC Legal Leaders, marking the second consecutive year of recognition. The KC Legal Leaders award celebrates the outstanding attorneys who are shaping the Kansas City legal community through leadership, innovation, professional excellence and meaningful contributions to the profession. 

Stevenson is the co-chair of Shook’s Complex Litigation Strategic Counseling Group and is primarily dedicated to defending companies in complex product liability and class action litigation in courts throughout the country. She has led litigation teams in both individual cases and multidistrict litigation, and her experience includes overseeing all aspects of mass litigation.

Stevenson is dedicated to pro bono service and has represented families in adoption and guardianship proceedings. She also served multiple terms on the board of directors for Kansas Legal Services, a non-profit law firm that provides equal access to justice for vulnerable Kansans.

Missouri Lawyers Media will honor Stevenson at an awards ceremony on August 20.
