Shook Receives Partnership Award from FosterAdopt Connect

Shook is proud to announce that the firm has received the Corporate Partnership Award from FosterAdopt Connect. FosterAdopt Connect works with families in Missouri and Kansas, providing advocacy and innovative programming that supports and empowers foster children impacted by the child welfare system. 

The Corporate Partnership Award recognizes a business or organization that has demonstrated an exceptional commitment to strengthening children and families through meaningful partnership, philanthropy, advocacy and community engagement.

For many years, Shook has partnered with FosterAdopt Connect through pro bono adoption work, volunteer service, fundraising efforts and board leadership. The firm’s commitment has helped countless children through adoption and has generated financial support for family assistance programs. 

In addition to assisting families through adoption proceedings, many of the firm’s attorneys have supported FosterAdopt Connect initiatives aimed at providing educational opportunities, resources and direct assistance to youth in foster care. Several of Shook’s attorneys have been previously individually recognized for their service to these children and families.
