Daniel J. Corley

Daniel Corley represents clients in complex litigation and coordinated proceedings throughout the United States, including individual actions, arbitrations, multidistrict litigation and mass-tort proceedings pending in state and federal courts nationwide. In product liability, commercial and other high-stakes disputes, Daniel brings significant trial and litigation-management experience, having successfully managed matters from initial case assessment through dispositive motion practice, trial and negotiated resolution. His experience spans developing litigation strategy, drafting and arguing dispositive and pretrial motions, navigating complex discovery and expert issues, preserving issues for appeal and counseling clients on practical paths to efficient outcomes.

Daniel has taken and defended numerous depositions of fact, expert and corporate representative witnesses and has on dozens of occasions served as the primary attorney responsible for pleadings, discovery, motion practice, negotiations, mediation, hearings and final resolution. 

His experience bringing matters to final resolution includes serving as first chair in seven trials resulting in jury and bench verdicts and in several arbitrations, while also participating in additional trials in second- and third-chair roles, including Texas’s first hybrid Zoom/in-person trial. He likewise maintains a strong record of success resolving matters before trial through dispositive motion practice, negotiation and mediation.

In support of large-scale litigation and coordinated proceedings for industry-leading clients, Daniel is experienced in coordinating with co-defendants, managing teams, synthesizing extensive factual and expert records and organizing cross-jurisdictional briefing and analysis. He draws on that experience to help clients assess risk, manage complex records and advance matters with clear strategy, practical judgment and disciplined execution.

Beyond his litigation practice, Daniel maintains an active commitment to service and professional leadership, including serving as the Diversity & Inclusion Advocate for the firm's New York office and maintaining a pro bono practice that includes immigration matters and compassionate-release advocacy. Through these efforts, he seeks to promote opportunity within the legal profession, expand access to legal representation and assist individuals navigating significant legal and personal challenges.
