Rima is a business litigator whose experience includes matters in labor and employment, tort and catastrophic loss, and premises liability and catastrophic injury. She has represented Fortune 500 companies in federal court and has managed an average of 40 civil defense cases at a time. Rima has experience drafting a wide range of motions including motions to compel, motions to strike, demurrers, ex partes, and motions for summary judgment and summary adjudication. 

Rima earned her J.D. from the University of California College of the Law, San Francisco, and her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. During and after law school she was a certified law clerk for the San Mateo District Attorney’s office, where she handled pretrial and preliminary hearings.
