Jon brings a diverse trial and litigation background to his practice in Complex Litigation and Strategic Counseling. This includes practicing at two large firms, starting his own law practice, and clerking or interning for three courts in Missouri while a law student and one in Hawaii following law school. In addition to his legal experience, Jon brings business acumen, having obtained his MBA and studied abroad in Cape Town, South Africa, Beijing and Shanghai.

Jon has experience at all stages of litigation from initial fact-finding to trial where he has held first and second chair roles, as well as appellate briefing and oral argument. He provides a wide array of support to litigation teams though document review, discovery and motion practice. Jon currently serves on the discovery leadership team for a large, national client. He has litigation experience in medical malpractice, product liability, nursing home defense, premises liability, insurance defense and business dispute resolution. Jon started at Shook as a litigation support analyst.
