Mehgan is a business litigation attorney who focuses on class actions, biometric privacy, and contract disputes. Mehgan handles all stages of litigation, including pretrial counseling, drafting and arguing motions, managing discovery, and preparing and examining witnesses for deposition, arbitrations, or trial. 

Mehgan also manages a variety of pro bono matters, including asylum applications, veterans’ disability benefits appeals, and research for an organization providing legal services to survivors of sexual assault and domestic violence.

Before joining Shook, Mehgan clerked for two years in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit where she became a detail-oriented and effective communicator, a strong legal writer, and knowledgeable about the federal appellate system.
