Larysa is an associate who focuses her practice in product liability litigation. She has experience conducting research and preparing memoranda; drafting pre-trial motions; reviewing and analyzing documents for privilege and responsiveness for investigations and trial preparation; and conducting intensive fact analyses, including drafting chronologies, summaries of key documents, and production memorandum in connection with highlight confidential white-collar investigations and litigations.

Before joining Shook, Larysa was a litigation associate with an AmLaw Global 200 law firm, where she represented clients in a wide range of criminal and civil investigations and related litigation across various industries, including banking, commodities, technology and general business. There, she helped a CEO in a federal white-collar criminal trial obtain an acquittal through preparing and drafting pre-trial motions, direct and cross examinations, and trial exhibits. She also assisted in extradition proceedings, conducting research and coordinating with UK solicitors and barristers. 

Larysa also has experience assisting with the representation of plaintiffs and defendants in insurance subrogation, matrimonial, contract disputes, and product liability matters. 

Larysa earned her J.D. from Fordham University School of Law, where she was a senior articles editor for the Fordham Journal of Corporate and Financial Law. While in law school, she served as a research assistant and intern for the Fordham Securities Litigation and Arbitration Clinic, where she advocated for investors in bringing claims against broker-dealers. In that role, she contributed to fact investigation, discovery, expert preparation, settlement negotiations and Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) hearings.
