Nelson practices in Shook’s Class Action and Appellate Litigation group. He has regularly resolved cases and negotiated favorable settlements, including many high-risk exposure cases initially valued in the millions but settled for a fraction of the initial demand. Nelson has handled cases within general liability, premises liability, product liability, transportation and business litigation.
Before coming to Shook, Nelson was in-house litigation counsel for a global consumer insights platform, where he oversaw domestic and international law firms and managed a diverse portfolio of pre-litigation, litigation and appellate matters, including patents, data privacy and employment cases.
