Taylor defends corporations and individuals in a variety of claims. His experience includes defense in single-plaintiff, PAGA, ERISA, tort, and coverage actions, as well as general civil litigation disputes. He not only appears in court and presents arguments, but also defends depositions of clients and deposes witnesses, plaintiffs and experts. Taylor’s work with expert witnesses includes collaborating with them on solid defenses. He conducts comprehensive legal research, drafts dispositive motions, and litigates discovery disputes, requests and responses. Taylor’s command of pre-litigation issues have proven invaluable in conducting successful trials.
Taylor earned his J.D. from The George Washington University Law School where he was on the University’s Journal of Energy and Environmental Law. During law school, Taylor held impressive internships in the federal government, including work as a legislative intern in the U.S. House of Representatives, work as a non-attorney practitioner in the Office of the General Counsel in the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and serving as a legal intern for the Office of the Inspector General for the U.S. Department of Energy. At the Department of Energy, his duties included working collaboratively with federal investigators to process whistleblower complaints and making recommendations on such proceedings.
Taylor is an Eagle Scout who runs marathons and enjoys cheering for his favorite football team, the Kansas City Chiefs.
