Tanya is a Senior Counsel in Shook’s Complex Litigation Strategic Counseling group in Houston. She brings more than 20 years of experience as an attorney and legal operations leader, with a focus on delivering efficient, high quality legal services across complex litigation, managed review and eDiscovery matters.
Tanya directs large-scale legal operations and managed review engagements, emphasizing quality, efficiency and practical project delivery. She has supervised teams of up to 150 professionals, developed and implemented analytical workflows and best practices, and managed vendor relationships and budgets to maximize value and control costs.
Her experience includes designing and optimizing data driven processes that improve consistency and defensibility in high stakes litigation. Tanya develops key performance indicators, dashboards and reporting tools to support strategic decision making and ensure transparency across complex matters.
Tanya is highly experienced in legal technology and innovation. She has led the adoption, testing and optimization of advanced platforms—including RelativityOne, Clearbrief, Kira, Harvey and Microsoft Copilot—and has guided organizations through change management initiatives and large scale technology transitions. She also collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including facilities, accounting, IT and HR, to tailor legal operations processes to organizational needs.
Her practice is informed by deep experience supporting complex litigation, class actions and product liability matters across a wide range of industries, including automotive, food and beverage, technology and life sciences.
