Libby brings an insider’s knowledge of the Florida federal court system and leadership experience to her product liability litigation practice.

Before coming to Shook, Libby served as law clerk to the Honorable Amanda Arnold Sansone of the United States District Court for the Middle District of Florida. She oversaw half of all civil cases in one of the busiest districts in the country and drafted discovery, dispositive and pretrial orders and bench memos for civil hearings.

While earning her J.D. at the University of Florida Levin College of Law, Libby excelled in moot court competitions, where she argued before Florida Supreme Court justices, federal judges and state appellate judges. She received the Dean’s Leadership Award and served as a general editor of the University of Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy. Libby earned her undergraduate degree magna cum laude from the University of Florida, where she was inducted into the University of Florida Hall of Fame for outstanding commitment to campus and community involvement and scholastic achievement.
