Bebe is a product liability litigation attorney with nearly 20 years’ international clinical trial leadership experience in the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. 

Bebe earned her J.D. from the University of Houston Law Center where she was editor-in-chief of the Houston Journal of Health Law and Policy and director of the University’s mediation competition. She gained court experience as a judicial intern to the Honorable Sherman R. Hatton Jr. of the Fort Bend County Court at Law No. 6, and was recognized for outstanding legal writing when inducted into the National Order of Scribes. As a Shook Summer Associate, Bebe was awarded the James Kelleher Fellowship. As a fellow, Bebe worked part of her summer with Shook client Liberty Mutual Insurance. 

Before law school, Bebe had a successful career as a global manager and director for pharmaceutical and medical device clinical trials. In these roles, Bebe worked with Fortune 500 pharmaceutical and medical device companies and served as a director for quality assurance and training. Her accomplishments include leading both internal employees and global, cross-functional teams in North America, South America, Europe and Asia to fulfill clinical trial milestones. Her work was recognized with the PharmaTimes “Clinical Researcher of the Year” Award for leading the development of a smartphone app for clinical trial diversity. Bebe uses this experience and knowledge gained in her practice, with an industry-specific approach to complex litigation issues.

In her practice, Bebe is an investigator skilled at generating resourceful resolutions by unpacking and dissecting key issues that align with the overall legal strategy. She enjoys working as a thought partner with her clients, actively listening to best understand business objectives and desired outcomes.
