Josh has represented a broad spectrum of clients in complex litigation including consumer class actions and product liability disputes. A seasoned litigator, Josh has served as lead defense counsel in more than 50 lawsuits. He has been involved in every phase of litigation and is known for evaluating cases in their early stages to create trial-focused strategies that are effective, efficient and innovative.
In a previous role, Josh served as senior counsel of federal litigation in the New York City Law Department. While there, he secured multiple defense jury verdicts on behalf of New York City and its employees as first-chair trial counsel. Josh was recognized with the Law Department’s Division Chief Award for his litigation excellence.
Josh began his career in the litigation department at one of the world’s largest law firms where he worked on complex and high-stakes product liability cases and commercial arbitrations. He also obtained favorable results for the firm’s pro bono clients, including a grant of asylum in favor of a Tibetan political refugee, and increased reparation payments on behalf of Holocaust survivors.
