Blum and Byrd Present at ACC Philly's In-House Counsel Conference

Shook, Hardy & Bacon partners Joseph Blum and April Byrd lead the “Can You Coach Your Client to be the Advocate?” panel at the In-House Counsel Conference (IHCC) hosted by the Greater Philadelphia Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) on Tuesday, April 19, at the Philadelphia Marriott Hotel. The panel discusses ethical considerations faced by in-house counsel in advising internal clients regarding direct contacts with represented persons and uses hypotheticals to illustrate permissible and impermissible “coaching” in a variety of settings.
