Shook Chair and Partner to Present at ABA Conference

Shook Chair Madeleine McDonough and Partner Miranda Lundeen Soto are among the presenters at the American Bar Association Women in Litigation Joint Conference, to be held in Philadelphia, November 15-17, 2017.

McDonough will join the panel, “A View From the Top: What it’s like to be the Firm’s Managing Partner.” During her tenure as Chair of Shook’s Pharmaceutical and Medical Device Practice, the firm represented dozens of major pharmaceutical clients, including each of the top 10 U.S. pharmaceutical companies. The National Law Journal named McDonough one of the nation’s top 50 Litigation Trailblazers and Pioneers in its inaugural 2014 class.

Soto will speak on “Effective Cross-Examination: Case Studies From Recent Trials.” She is a board certified civil trial lawyer and has tried more than 50 cases, bench and jury trials, defending a wide range of matters, including commercial and business disputes. She is a regular panelist and speaker for the Association of Corporate Counsel.
