Goldberg to Present at Casualty Insights Conference

Shook Partner Phil Goldberg will present the session “Mass Torts and Other Large Claims” at Advisen’s Casualty Insights Conference March 29, 2018, in New York City. Goldberg’s session outlines some large claims (not just mass torts) that are affecting the industry. He will discuss the cumulative effect of these events on the casualty section and how, if at all, they change the liability dynamic. The session will address large loss events in 2017 and follow the ripple effect into risk managers’ renewal.

The conference, now in its eighth year, is the premier insurance industry event addressing today’s casualty risk management and insurance issues. It brings together more than 500 professionals and lawyers to share their knowledge about market trends, significant legal and regulatory developments and emerging exposures.

Goldberg serves as Managing Partner for Shook’s Washington, D.C. office as well as the Co-Chair of the firm’s Public Policy Practice Group.
