Shook Partners to Participate in TIPS 2018 Conference

Shook Partners Al Saikali, Grant Law and Amir Nassihi will be participating in the ABA’s Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) 2018 Section Conference, May 2-5, 2018, in Los Angeles, California.

Shook Data Security & Privacy Co-Chair Al Saikali will present “Law Firms at Risk: The Ethical Duty to Protect Client Data in the New Breach Environment” May 2, 2018. The panelists will explain the latest law firm breaches and their impacts on firms of all sizes. Attendees can expect to learn the rules and recent guidance on data storage and the best methods to address client security questionnaires and concerns.

Partner Grant Law will moderate a panel titled “Emerging Technology, Emerging Risks: The Road Ahead for Autonomous Vehicles” May 3, 2018. The panel addresses the up-to-date developments in the world of autonomous vehicles including the most recent technology, federal and state regulatory issues, product liability implications and insurance.
