Four Shook Attorneys To Present at ABA Life Sciences Legal Summit

Four Shook attorneys will be presenters at the 5th Annual Life Sciences Legal Summit in San Francisco on September 26, 2018. The event, to be held at Genentech’s world headquarters, is a yearly review of regulatory, litigation, ethics and intellectual property issues, as well as recent case law, affecting attorneys and clients in nearly every area of the life sciences field. 

Amir Nassihi, Managing Partner of the Shook San Francisco office and Chair Elect of the ABA Tort, Trial & Insurance Practice Pharmaceutical, Medical Device and Biosciences Committee, will moderate “A View From the Bench: Best Practices in Managing Complex Litigation,” with California state and federal judges as panelists. 

Sonali Gunawardhana, Of Counsel in Washington, D.C., and Steve Vieux and Andrew Trask, both Of Counsel at Shook San Francisco, also are speakers at the Summit. Gunawardhana and Vieux will be panelists for “Recent Enforcement Trends in Life Sciences–Understanding Areas of Concern from Advertising/Promotion to Competition and GMP Enforcement.” Trask will present “Recent Developments in Class Action Litigation.”
