Barkett Among Panelists for ABA Webinar on Witness Ethics

Partner John Barkett will be a panelist for the webinar “Refresher Ethics: Steering Clear of Witness Minefields,” at 1 p.m. EST Tuesday, December 18, 2018, hosted by the American Bar Association Section of Litigation. The panel will discuss ethical obligations that attorneys may confront when dealing with witness problems such as false testimony, witness payments, preparing affidavits, witness coaching, the use of inadvertently produced documents in a deposition, and investigating witnesses using social media. 

Barkett will be joined by Bruce Green, the Louis Stein Chair of Law and Director of the Stein Center at Fordham Law School, and Paul Sandler, partner at Shapiro Sher. 

Attendees may be eligible for one hour of CLE credit; the webinar also will be available on-demand in January 2019.
