KADC Elects Chaffee-McClure President

The Kansas Association of Defense Counsel (KADC) has elected Shook Partner Zach Chaffee-McClure to be its next president.

KADC is a statewide nonprofit organization of lawyers whose goal is to “enhance the knowledge and improve the skills of defense lawyers, elevate the standards of trial practice, and work for the administration of justice.” Chaffee-McClure follows in the footsteps of Shook attorneys Gene Balloun, Bill Sampson and the late David Rameden, all of whom served as KADC president.

Chaffee-McClure defends companies in banking litigation, business tort lawsuits, appeals and class actions brought under antitrust and consumer protection laws. He has successfully defended clients in MDLs and other complex litigation involving various products and sales practices, as well as clients involved in high-stakes business arbitration and FINRA disputes.

He has been included in both the “Under 40 Hot List” and “Future Stars” list of Benchmark Litigation, and has been recognized by Missouri/Kansas Super Lawyers.
