Peterson Joins Agriculture Career Event For Kids Hosted by American Royal Association

Associate Torrey Peterson joined agribusiness professionals from around greater Kansas City to host a “career-cruising” event for sixth-graders at Rosehill Elementary in Lenexa, Kansas. The event, hosted by the American Royal Association, allowed students to learn first-hand about careers in food technology, agriculture education, animal health, crop production and sales, marketing, grain merchandising, agricultural lending, law, insurance and health care.

Besides Shook, other participating companies included Bartlett Grain Company, Cerner Corporation, Corteva Agriscience, FirstNationalBank, Merck Animal Health, Old World Spices & Seasonings, and Walnut Risk Management Personal Lines Insurance, as well as the Agriculture Future of America (AFA).
