McCarthy to Moderate Panel at ABA Conference on Cybersecurity and Data Protection

Shook Associate Colman McCarthy will moderate the panel “Privacy and Security Governance for Law Firms–Is it Time to Hire a CPO?” at the ABA’s Fourth National Institute on Cybersecurity and Data Protection: A Law Firm’s Responsibility in Managing Data Risk, in New York City, June 20, 2019.

Scheduled panelists include Richard Borden, White and Williams, Art Ehuan of The Crypsis Group, Peter Lesser of Skadden Arps, Mark McCreary of Fox Rothschild LLP, and Tara Swaminatha of Squire Patton Boggs. 

McCarthy represents major technology companies in nationwide litigation in the areas of wireless communications, semiconductors and software. He also works with clients to build privacy and data security programs and incident response plans, and advises them on legal compliance. He is a member of The Sedona Conference Working Group 11 on Data Security and Privacy Liability, and of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
